BOONE, N.C. — After a six-man “golf off” practice session on April 17 at Cedar Rock Country Club near Lenoir, men’s golf head coach Klay Anderson announced that Colin Phelps, Paul Taylor, Jake Warren, Elliott Holcomb, and Leo McEvoy are the five Pioneer student-athletes who will represent Watauga in the Northwestern Conference tournament on April 18, also at Cedar Rock Country Club.
“With spring break last week, I haven’t seen these guys for about 10 days,” said Anderson. “This practice session is just to see where we are at and help us identify the five guys who will compete for Watauga in the conference tourney.”
